Most useless government site in the state of Florida. Tried on multiple online platforms and devices and I can’t submit a simple request for yard marking. The video posted shows what is obviously an old version of the website. Which means I’m calling on Monday to submit something I could have done myself in two minutes if a website actually worked. Seeing as I’ve called them before for tickets and it took over half an hour this is a pain that I was trying to avoid just to get my yard marked; I can see people avoiding calling just because it’s a pain in the butt.

The service and quality has really went downhill in the past couple years. There's a reason It's free to use. It's better to just call a private locate company and pay for it. If ONE locator decides to be lazy, they close the whole ticket on you. Especially when you do have it staked and whitelined, they STILL ask where is it at? The "Quality Checks" shouldn't fall on us contractors, but rather the "locators" you guys hire & send the info to.

You have no choice who to call for marking your undergound services so they dont have to be helpful. In the end though, people did come to mark the lines for cable, electric. and gas, very wierd system and you never know when anyone will show up. But from when I called till everything was marked, was about 5 days.

They themselves don't do the tracking sometimes. If they do, they sure can't follow directions to mark the entire property.

Called 811 because I wanted to change the orientation of my pavers and I knew there was both cable and utility in the area. After waiting two days and receiving emails of "No Conflict" and "Clear No Facilities" from both, I called to dispute. After a few hours, I walked out of the house and saw this in my yard. The red marker is an underground 150A main feed smh!! It appears I encroached this area originally, but I find that hard to believe because that was once all untouched forest that I cleared out years ago, but this is where I'm at. Luckily I didn't hired help or have rental equipment waiting around, but others may not be so fortunate. So sad!!
